to be honest its hard enought catchng the birds but have been told to head down in the dark an try then...i used fishing line me self..i ve reported each pigeon i got and only one women wrote a letter to me back her husband use to own pigeons an had died an they ll got sold at auction...gb 03 hen nice pigeon

andy i went over the bridge take a left drove strate to the end towards the beach and seen two or three different flocks of pigeons ..to b honest th brother sent the misses to mc donanlds anwe hada walk around...belive me buddie i found many rings in the building i ve promised to friend on this site.

i do train my birds from arklow in ireland and each time i go down i catch strays in building beside the beach its an old building beside shipping yards...an evan if i was to treat my birds all year round for any systems.evan one yellow spot in any of 30 pigeons...i still find the strays are more in form or take over the loft that any of the birds i have they just dont seam to get sick....i v since went to using sand of different beaches and seeing does it make a difference....??????any ideas would this make any differents

garlics i use most time i am trying many things at the moment i ve heard elderberrys were also very good..also use herbs boiled left over night an givien into water....cider vinegar i find the birds dont drink as much...or i ve just never put the right amount in...my mistake

the sand also keeps the floor dry and its not messy

i have sand on the floor and i ting ts get for the birds they love picking all the small shells out off eh

i dont race my birds as yet but i do train weekly from 20 to 60 miles not during the moult but i try and push my birds as hard as i can...but they just seem to fly for much longer now they often go missing for much longer now and there not coming back with muck on there feet or anything else.they always have vitiams and grit in the loft...evan in the rain they stay up in the air for long times

my loft is right next to a forrest and i ve seen rats running under my loft and true the fence back into the forest but have never had any trouble with rats what so ever...mice on the other hand i catch daily in live traps placed under the loft and have since had to make my loft mice proof every inch of it..i ve tried rat an mice posion but its pointless is a never ending story i find it much handyer with he live traps an have found some fun in disposing of them

did any body ever hear of winter form my birds seem to fly for longer in the winter than the do in the summer i ve been told its called winter form..

dont get ya s lads what does elderberrys do for the birds and is it worth while giving it to ur birds????

any of yous ever try elderberrys boiled and added to there water???????

i dont really want to get into trouble as only a learner an still in school i think ill be not aloud join at all an as ive had pigeons so long i wanna go far evan get me name up on the board ...sorry but need more info on this because if i say the club i am going to join i might but left out altogether how much should fee cost

im not sure as i have said i dont relly know much thats why im on this to learn more about pigeons

thanks a milloin but family members have been in the club in my home area before and the people in the club are only making the numbers up not caring about young people like me self i took on most of the strays that had landed home an stayed around the house from my older brothers who have tryed an raced pigeons. but its a joke up in the club were we live ....really is it really 350 euro to join a pigeon club..just for joinning??????

yes i went bougth a GB wal zoontjen hen its off "donker as" and "chateauroux" did ya ever hear of that blood line i ve family member that has pigeons of that strain an is doing very well.......
