does that price include door runners, polycarb, nails, woodstain, bolts, saw? Add to that you've got to be handy at woodwork or it becomes an expensive mess. Not saying your wrong about it being cheaper your way, but its only cheaper if the end result is a professional looking loft and not an eyesore.

It doesnt always work out cheaper to build your own loft.
