This pigeon was a previous section winner for Paddy and is also just back racing having been on the injured list. Fran & James Crowe’s second placed pigeon is a yearling bred from their consistent channel family. This was his first time across the water but his brother was second fed last year from the yearling national; and both of their parents have been across the channel many times. Joe Dunne’s third placed pigeon is a home bred yearling Buschaert raced on the natural system. Also getting on the top ten list this week is Tom Dardis with a home bred yearling Jan Aarden.

The winning pigeon this week for Paddy Mc Cabe was a Grondelaer hen racing natural. She has had positions before and has plenty of top ten cards to her name. Seamus Neary took fifth position this week with another one of his Foxwood stock. Declan Wilson’s pigeon ‘Communion Boy/Chloe’s Boy’ that took sixth position this week was also winner of the nom. This bird has won three races before and has also won a first section in the Old Bird Derby winning €500 in the process. He is bred down off of stock from Joe O’ Reilly of Arklow.
