Thanks for your reply. No one contacted me, and the pigeon has seemed livelier. Yesterday I took him to a nearby park, away from the feral cats in our yard, and he flew off. I asked St. Francis to look after him!

On 8/13/09 we found 2 pigeons in our back yard. They were fluttering around and seemed disoriented. I was able to pick up one and put it into a cat trap that I had. I gave him bird seed and water. I saw that it had a leg ring with this information on it. COMING DOWN LIKE RAIN ROLLERS "RCS" 2009 310-631-7173 The second one flew to the patio roof where a feral cat grabbed him and took off. I called the phone number and a man told me that he had sold his pigeons and had no idea where these two came from. He suggested taking him to a pet store. I called a couple but they weren't interested. I tried to release him this morning but he would not fly. I tried throwing him into the air but he only flew to a shrub, then fell to the ground. I put him back into the cage because if he's left on the ground a cat will get him. Can you give me any advice on what to do with him? I can't keep him because we are out of town a lot. Thanks, Leah
