Well she has been collected and is now on her way back to Bonny Scotland. What a great couple of people I have got to know over these last few days and also been given an insight into a sport i knew nothing about. Brian... hope the bird does no more dissapearing acts and Gordon it was great to talk to you about the art of pigeon racing. You just never know you may have a new member in the not too distant future Take care

Hey this bloke is trying everything he can so dont get at him. I just said I would try and find someone who would take it in for him.

I am a non fancier who found a young bird in my garden on Monday. After contacting the owner sadly he cant get it picked up to be taken to Fife ( i think ) So I now have a hen ( thats what he told me ) who is in need of a new home. Im in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Any takers ? Looked after her all week and just to release her and see her lost somewhere else does not seem to be that fair. Come on someone newcomer to the sport must want to take her in ?????

I dont mind keeping her until friday if it means she will be safely taken back home.

Sapper Just to let you know the bird looks good this morning sitting happily in her home ( dont know the correct wording lol ) Ive fed and watered her before Ive left for work and she seems in good health. Hope someone helps you out soon. In the meantime Polly ( yes my wife has named her !!!! ) seems to be doing fine. I want to know what the hell a bird flying from Kelso to Fife is doing turning up in Newcastle ???? Has to be a women thats all I wil say LOL
