I was 17 when i started keeping the birds, this was down to my mates dad who raced them, i found myself going round too watch the birds more than to see my mate, I talked my dad into letting me have a 8x6 section of his 30x6 workshop lol two years later me and my dad turned all his workshop into a loft. the thing i found more strange was that when my dad met my mates dad they knew each other from school, they lived 100 meters away from each other for the last ten years and did not know it, also it turns out it was my grandad that started my mates dad off with the birds as well, it was the first i had known that my grandad raced pigeons before. was out of the sport for 10 - 12 years before meeting teresa and guess what. her grandad, uncles, all raced pigeons , HEAVEN OR WHAT she is also well into pigeons and if it was not for her help i would not be able too race them.
