Just wanted to say it has been fascinating to get a glimpse into the pigeon world, such a lovely bird we have enjoyed having her to stay and I hope she finds her way back to her owner successfully. forgot to say we are in East Hampshire

This pigeon has been in our front yard since Sat morning. We have put food and water out and it has fed well it has spent two windy nights on our front porch roof. It doesn't seem to be injured and can fly onto the roof without any problems but seems reluctant to go. Is there anything else we should do? We have a light airy garage and would be happy for it to be in there if it is more protected/sheltered but I don't want to catch it if theres a chance it will clear on its own. Any advice most welcome. Also not 100% on the number code, as its hard to see without catching the bird. it has a pink disc on one leg and two white rubber bands on the other. The white ones have 2944 (or poss 2911) thanks
