my dad unknowingly bought me two male birds, thinking they were a pair for my birthday. i am new to the sport and dont want to give the birds up as they were a gift. i have already spent over £200 on a small loft and the birds are always humming in their boxes so if any one has got any free birds to give (preferably hens) i will take them. thankyou

i would recommend fantails aswell as they do not like to fly much!!! my dad added the white birds when he was feeding the young birds. and soon the birds start to learn that the white pigeons are assosiated with food...

my dad used milton!!! he would add a quarter of the tablet to the birds water, and it never seemed to do any harm

what makes a bird fly home??? i have heard that it is something todo with "magnetic field." is this true??? :-/ :-/

i have heard that a treatment for canker is getting the end of a match (the one that ignites) and slowly rubbing it onto the infected area of the mouth (if caught in the early stages).

i see stray racing pigeons all over my area. i think this is the reason why many racing pigeons dont return. they pair up with streeters!!!
