Thanks for your help. The owner just called me about the bird. I'm going to try and release it tomorrow and hopefully it will fly but if it doesn't he'll come and pick it up. Clair

Hi! I found this pigeon in my garden this morning. It had a red/pink tag on it's leg that read GB 09 R04970. I put it in a cat carrier box to protect it from mine and the neighbours cats and I've given it some seeds and some water. I hope I've done the right thing, I don't know the first thing about pigeons. I've reported it as found on the website but I wondered if anyone here knew who it belonged to. Clair
