Weather in Berkshire was nice clear skies around 4.30am this morning. Then out of nowhere heavy mist started to come in at 6.45am, now visabilty is very poor. Does anyone know of weather conditions on south coast?.

I used to put TCP in their bath water, was thinking that dipping them in this would do the trick. I do remember feathering felt nice and smooth when the bathed in it,(not too much in the water). They used to drink it aswell Trouble would be i would stink of the stuff if i dipped them?.

Regarding clearing lice from the birds, is there a cheap way of doing this, ie a cheap product from local shops you can use. Would be interested in how other fanciers keep birds feathers clean.

BICC birds were liberated from Saran (approx 270 miles to Berkshire) at 05.30 a.m. this morning in a light E.N.E. wind. Any thoughts on what the velocity they could be doing?

At least i will not lose then. Boomarang Its not one of the complete wings just that little bit on the wing (like a dew claw on dogs feet i suppose). Its called Ba****d wing

Hi to all, One of my young birds has ripped off one of its wing. It looks as if bird is feeling very sore. Have put some vasalene on it Just a quick question, will this make any difference to the bird when flying in the futere.
