Hello
I have in my garden a beautiful pigeon that is obviously well cared for. It arrived 2 days ago and is still here. I have given it water and some wild bird food (I hope that's ok, I didn't know what else to give it). I would dearly love it to be reunited with it's owner but I don't know how to find them. It has a bluey green ring on it's leg but I've not yet managed to be able to handle him/her to see any number. I tried to look this morning whilst it was sitting on my window sill tapping on the window, but there I couldn't get it properly. Is this the only way of identifying it. It is very pretty with a white/grey mottled head and bib and the most lovely shade of pinky/lilac on the back of it's neck and green to the sides of it's head. The rest of the body is white with black bands around it's wings.
I live in Chirk Bank, but I know that these amazing birds travel long distances so it could come from anywhere!
All help greatly appreciated.
Regards
Karen
