also, i have not put the fronts on the nestboxes or any bowls, when do i do this?

hi all only me again, just asking for abit of advice again!, all views welcome ive got a 10x8 loft with 2 sections, at the moment ive got cocks in one side & hens & late youngsters in the other,(as soon as i can tell the sexs i will seperate) the cocks have their boxes, & was wondering when & how do i put the hens in? i want to breed certain cocks n hens, so do i just put the hen & cock in the same box? & what shall i do regarding the weaning process? alot of these birds are prisioners. regards & thanks again

does garlic oil do the same job as fresh,? i heard it doesnt, so i always use fresh

dont give them salted peanuts speight, just ones for human consumption, not roasted or anything, just plain nuts(red skins)

breed another pair of pigeons, like tumblers or any & foster the eggs to them.

took mine a while to get used to peanuts, used to chop them first till they got the taste, now they love em as a treat, i also crush a few & mix with the corn during the moult.

cheers ray, yes, a lot of people i know breed loads of young birds, each year & seems as if they push & rush them too much & end up with a handfull of birds that dont really do too much, i remember my uncle when i was a kid & he had a goodteam of old birds that done the buisness nearly every race,. yes thought hard, & going to take it at my own pace.

yes son(westy) HAWK been back again today waiting in the tree in neighbours garden behind the loft! this has really put me back! as got new late late breds & was letting them out daily prior to this damn hawk!, got internal doors now, so i can leave the main doors open so they can see outside. but really has pi**ed me off!

the dog at work ate my good sony camera 6 mths ago & my boss brought a cheap camera ive tried absolutly everything to get a good pic , but everyone turns out BLUR! well i will give it a go,
