Having had two cocks killed by the hawk i decided to try the yellow rotating beacon i let the birds out after work at 05 30pm at 07 30pm they was still flying couldnt get them to land on the lofts i had to take the beacon down suppose at least its getting the birds fit but defeating the object anyone else tried it?

I went into the stock loft today to ring some young birds having checked on a pair of Hartogs whose young birds are around 5 days old the hen had laid again ive had them lay around 10 days but never before ive got the rings on them anyone else had this ?

Ive just started letting my race team out in the last couple of weeks last week had attack took a yearling cock today another attack 2 year old hen missing makes you wonder if its worth carrying on.

He applied for costs which he doesnt know the outcome yet but has spent well over £15,000 to keep his pigeon loft once again thank you all who sent e mails.
