he wont come down ,i will have to leave it for tonite,i will update tommorow

he is still on roof!im trying to attract him down so i can have closer look and maybe find out more about him and where he originates,,i get a few ML birds accross from edinburgh area on occasion,i have put out some nuts in my pigeon feeder in teh hope he is maybe hungry,he looks to be in good health,i will post on any updates,if i manage to catch him as im sure someone will eb missing him,(hes a stunner)

grey/pied saddlebar type racing pigeon wearing red leg tag(this years bird?)on roof near my home,he wont come down so i can inspect his band,,hes a really unusual bird grey/white/blue bars/white flights and splash of white on head)im in fife

it looks quite young certainly,,he only has one ring on leg,,im beginning to think"he"is a she!as one of my cock birds("milk",dark,spread,white flights)is paying it attention!!!it has been back again this morning,im off to work but gonna try again to catch it later

he was back today,he has been hanging out near station building,had net out but the wee bugger kept flying off

ring color is red!its got black writing on it(numbers etc),also bird has dark eyes(not orangy like other ones)

it was a ash red color with dark red bars,quite tame,tried to catch him,as he was hanging round my flock but he kept flying off,have similar one myself and confused lost bird with my own bird(till i saw ring)if i see him again ill try n catch him,as im sure he will be missed as hes quite a striking looking pigeon

had apigeon hanging round for a few days,,he had ML on leg band ,,coulnt get numbers,,just wondering where he came from,never seen band with this on beofre,,fed him and he went off eventually

has this once with a young spread cock,i observed for 1 day and lo n behold it seemed to correct itself,hes ok now

i also have found a NL tagged pigeon,im in fife

you can buy young bird formula from vets or some pet stores,this would give him the nutrients he is needing,keep him warm,give him water regualrly too,what do you plan to do with him?id idvise against the RSPCA as they dont really have much to do with pigeons and doves,try "pigeon rescue uk"

what colour is bird?i have a NL ringed hen hanging roud!shes a light ash red with red bars and dark eyes,in good condition,im feeding her and trying to trace her owner,she has 1 red ring on r leg

i have put nuts out ,i have a feeding hopper in my garden,which they like to use in good weather,it is out just now and filled with food,i will try and catch her and find out the whole ID on her ring,she appears to have paired up with one of the ferals as he is following her around

no race rubber on her!!!just red band,i can see what looks like NL 274 cant get rest of numbers,she keeps flying off when i go too close,shes in good shape,i will try tommorow when i do the feed(she is roosting on an old crane at night )she comes for food/water/grit and hangs out with our lot
