Oooops its posted twice can a mod delete one please

I'm thinking of replacing the felted roof and putting a tiled apex roof on the loft, I was thinking of leaving a 3 inch gap front/back for the airflow but was wondering what your thoughts are on boarding or felting under the tiles.

On dull days they can just about see to feed, as regards the sunlight they have access to the trap/aviary, judging by the replys it looks like wait and see. Thanks for the replys

Since putting traps on the front of the loft its quite dark inside it doesn't seem to bother the birds, But i was wondering if it will affect them as regards bringing them into form next season. What are your thoughts on this ?

I was led to believe that you should ask your neighbour first, if they refuse to reduce the height you can let the council take over but you have to give the council £500 to take it up, if you win and they have to reduce the height you get your £500 back !!!!!

I've got some 20 foot conifers dotted in the gardens around the loft, I was wondering what the legislation is regarding them, I used to have a good view of the birds on their arrival but over the last couple of years i've found myself peering around these conifers, They are not taking any light but are causing me a problem, Any help/advice is appreciated Thanks Eyebrows
