Thanks guys... hahaha I'm absolutely amazed at how quick I got a response Did you know him or his son? Do you mean Robert, as he's my fiance's Grandad and she remembers him fondly? Hi there... I've just joined really hoping if any of you nice people can help me. I'm doing some family tree research and I was wondering if anybody had any usefull information about somebody. This is probably a queery for some of the older fanciers out there! - hahaha, My fiance's great grandad is Charles Smith Russell, from Fife. He was born 4th November 1894 and died in 1963. We think he lived all his life in Ladybank, but he did go to France with the pigeons. He was seemingly Head Convoyer (is that word right?) for Fife at one point. I'm not expecting anyone to remember him perhaps, but maybe the Fife club might have some old info with him in it??? I know the chances are slim... but it's worth a shot - eh? Thanks guys...
