  1. Not yet unfortunately, I've left a message for a club in Reading I was given the number for and have emailed a couple of other people that I've found email addresses for. Any further help/advice will be much appreciated. Is there any way for example I could tempt them into my flat quite easily or trap them (sounds awful but in a humane way) so that I can take them away somewhere.
  2. They sleep on my windowsill and the wall just adjacent to my windowsill. They could probably be caught if I had a net and waited quietly for them to settle.

  5. Thank you I've left a message for Andrew. If anyone else can help please let me know as time is of the essence here! Re: the comment about it being illegal I've looked into it and apparently they might be able to get away with it under some licence but I don't think legalities are going to stop them anyway as they've made it quite clear they're going to go ahead despite my objections.
  6. Hi there, I'm really hoping someone can help me. I'm looking for a pigeon fancier or club in the Reading or Berkshire area that would be prepared to come and take away some doves/white pigeons that my neighbours are planning to shoot. Someone bought them as pets a few months ago but has not bothered to care for them or keep them in adequate enclosures. As a result the other flat owners in my building have decided to shoot them without having taken any other action. I have called the RSPB, RSPCA, Natural England, Environmental Health and also the police but nobody is prepared to take ation until a crime has been committed - in other words after the birds have been shot. Whilst the people might be prosecuted, this does not save what are incredibly beautiful, healthy white doves/pigeons. If anyone could help please contact via the forum and I'll be in touch asap. Kind regards Louise
