We have been plagued by falcons and sparrowhawks around the lofts within the last four years lost over 50 pigeons to them. We were told to try Ivermectin it kills lice and worms also benefit by souring the meat after one or two strikes the falcons and sparrowhawks will not strike your birds around the loft. We now it does not work for road or racing due to different predetors on rought. Other negative of this product we have since been told it knocks the birds off with racing and breeding and from this we are not looking to use this product if it right. Could anyone who have used this product let us know how they faired with it Racing, club, fed, national results before and after the product Breeding same as above Any response would be appreciated

Jason we have the light and darkness system dvd you can have a lend of the dvd no probs just get in touch with your address and ill send it to you. Just send it back when youve finished with it. What we do is chop 3 to 4 cloves of garlic then put them into a leo pea bag put this in each fountain it then acts like a teabag they then bleed into the fountain and keep toping up each day for five days then repeat the programe. We also do the same process as back up with a gallon can

We use one of our hazard beacons from our skip yard it is a 12 volt flashing beacon like on recovery vehicles and on our skip lorries. We tried this system after attacks by the sparrowhawks 07 season and never received a single strike again. The one that we bought was a beacon with a bolt that we then bolted through our racing loft roof its then wired to a car battery on crocadile clips. You can pick these up in any car shop or parts shop around a tenner remember 12 volt not 24 volt or you would need 2 batteries to work its what we done and it worked a treat no probs with birds owing to them seeing it on when training or flying around the loft.

We currently use Flaxseed oil from any good health shop around £10 a bottle it is 100% pure linseed oil we add a tea spoon full on their corn approx 24 birds to each tea spoon full everyday through the moult. We have not had any trouble with any of the birds since using this system

We currently use AVIOL from PJ Lofts its a very good multivit at £18 a bottle it last our whole season using once a week. With using the multivit on the wednesday to our raceprograme.

Would like to post how well run and organised a collection of birds from Doncaster was completed for us. We contacted pigeon tracker with info on birds we wanted collected they gave us full updates when collected and time of delivery back to us. This was completed and a excellent standard of service and we will definatly use this company again. Well done to you Jamie and your staff A1

Thanks for you all asking. We managed to get a young bird team of 18 birds to represent our lofts and our killed birds. We would like to note we will not be able to fly the old bird season next year due to the slaughter. Such a shame when we have been the Rhondda Valley old bird champions for the past three years. all due to some jelous individual our birds where only trained to fly and to win whoever it was if they had a problem they should have been like a man and came to see us. Boys thanks for the offer of rearing us some young birds but our stock birds are still with us owing to these have allways been kept at a different address. Birds that were attacked were our racing loffts.
