We are in the Norfolk Park area. We don't keep pigeons, just helping this one out so I don't really know what a fancier is, or what is best practice with pigeons.

GB is written laterally 80 is written horizontally and then Z20968

We have found a racing pigeon in Sheffield (20968). He seems to be very tired, was by the side of the road so we have brought him in for some warmth. We have found these numbers on his rings but don't know what they mean. Please help. GB80Z20698 8147 20968 Many thanks
