  13. the Macclesfield FC will be holding a YB sale on 15th April watch this space for further details
  14. dont start breaking them down until you have built them up also go by the weather if its cold north east winds keep them on widow mix even in the warmer weather feed according to the WEATHER?WIND AND DISTANCE of race almost all books are informative but you will have to read between the lines ie follow the weather forcasts on line for each week watching what the weather and wind is for that particular weekend if you fly the south route and its given a strong SOUTH wind and you are only flying say 80 miles then they dont need lifting as soon
  15. we have all had them at some time normally its a nervous thing that turns into a habit we had 1 cock in particular that would make several attempts to drop trough the door each time turning just as he was about to enter the loft door especially when you wanted them in before going to work but he was a good cock a winner of several firsts inc first fed he never did it on a saturday when he knew is hen would be there and he would never do it in the week when he won his first prizes on the saturday so it was always the pool bird that week but yes they are a problem and shutting them out or not feeding them can cure some but not all a lot of good birds have little idiocyncrises but i would not keep a bad trapper if it did it reagular on a saturday
  16. hi all is it just me or are there any other members who could not get on the site for the past 3 days i was beging to panic
  17. just to clarify what i mean is that the car that we want would be used a few times a year for hols and for the misses getting to work only the first reply i sent reads as if the misses would be going to work in a caravan
  18. hi p/pete the caravan we have is a bailey ranger 500/5 the weight when laden is 1250 kilo we would be using it a few times a year for hols apart from that it would be used my the misses to get to work about 3 miles
  19. if you put a rubber band round the primary flights in 1 of the wings and let them out they will just walk about after a week release 1 or 2 of the flights so they can fly to the loft roof keep letting out flights at regular intervals and by the time all are released they will have orientated themselves to the new loft obviously if you want to race them be carefulwith the flights
  20. Hi please help us we are desperate. We have just purchased a caravan and now find that our vehicle is not inside the legal weight limit to pull it. We are looking for a 2L diesel. Is there anyone out there who could advise us on which make and model would be best. We don't really want to go over 2L. Your advice would be appreciated. We have been looking at the Landrover Freelander td4 and have had mixed opinions on it.
  21. dont know about sexing yb but if you are floating eggs then remove the first egg as soon as she lays it and replace it with a pot egg putting the first egg under a foster pair when she lays the second egg remove this one and put it under a different foster pair you will find that 99.9 times out of 100 the first egg will be the cock
