I'm an old pigeon man and was ruminating on the great channel pigeons of my youth. Was thinking of knowledge Iv lost from generation of pigeon men of my past. Left are fragments of old stories shared by mainly old miners (Pitmen) of my past. Passed on around pigeon lofts when I was a kid. Besotted with pigeons and the great pigeon men and their pigeons. I was surrounded back then by top Chanel racers. Other kids might have wanted to be the next Jackie Millburn or Cliff Richards. Me, l wanted to be the next Tom Kilner. I wanted pigeons as good as Blue Boy ,the Quite Man or the Thousands pound hen. Over the years , I got close , but not quite. Now Id like to record some of our pigeon history before it lost like my fading memory. Possibly leaving it to Wood hall museme along with my collection of ola timing clocks. Thought Blue boy was a good place to start. Any help great fully acepted
