here is another picture of this pigeon, if that is of any use.

He has been there almost 12 hours now, not really moving around but he seems to be sleeping, since he has his one leg up. i think he may have touched the water but i can't tell for sure. if in the morning he is still there, i was going to search for some number to call. I'm in Boston, MA in the United States. where would i post the ring number? honestly, i know nothing about pigeon rescuing so any other specific advice is welcome.

Hi, I know nothing about pigeons, however today a pigeon landed outside our window sill and has been there for about 4 hours now. at first we thought it was cute but then i noticed runny green either vomit or poo, looked it up and apparently that indicates pidge is not feeling well. anyway, i put a small bowl of water and a small piece of sesame bread out to him. i would like to know if anyone has any other advice, i'd really like to be able to help this sick pigeon. another thing, the pigeon is some type of homing pigeon or something because he has little bands around his legs, one is green and white, the other is red and says '2008'. thanks for your help!
