  1. As long as they are safe then thats all im concerned about They were beautful. I must admit I like the white birds 8)

  4. Hi Well they never returned, quite fancy getting some tumblers, but before I get any form of bird im gonna make sure everything is in place. They did have ventilation and they had sparrs at their window. I didnt however poss keep them hungry enough and I didnt have a platform in place at the window. My intention is to take out the shed window and put a caged platform (not sure of the name for it. The shed was cleaned out every 2 days and fresh water was given 3 times a day, their food bowls were washed every day and topped up, cant think why they left tbh,id have been quite happy living in there being cared for ;D ;D
  5. This was the day I brought them home, I didnt know they were coming so wasnt 100% prepared, I qickly got sparrs fitted but no nesting boxes. The were ever so friendly and would come and greet me when I went in and werent scared. They have not returned and dont think they will now
  6. Yes there is a side window of which I had spars put up so they could see out

Can I just thank everyone for all the words of encouragement and offers of help, im actually overwhelmed, its very much appreciated 8) , ive been out again at 6am and still no sign of them, so just hoping they are well whatever the rascals are up to. I would like to take up the offer of help Thanks.

Their shed does have some tree cover above and they could have been scared off the shed roof possibly and yes they had been fed, I was maybe a bit generous with their food :B Im worried as we have sparrow hawks here and see several wood pigeons slaughtered Im going to go out again now with the torch to see if I can see them :-/
  15. Is there advice here you can point me to that gives care of pigeons and how to rear etc so if mine dont come back and I get another couple :-/ Thank you

Im so upset :'( I decided after 3 weeks to let my pigeons out into the big world, the came out of their own accord and hung about all day but they have now vanished and have not come back, im gutted :'( Do you think they could have flown back to their old home even though they were young when I got them :B Im feeling so stupid as I have obviously not done everything correctly and have now lost my babies :'( Looks like ive been your shortest member :'(

  20. Thanks for that 8) They are racers but they arent rung, is that a problem ??) I dont intend to race them :-/ Id like to possibly in the future but im a complete novice :B
  21. Im not too sure exactly what my birds are, so here is a picture of them the 1st day I got them. Their shed is more accomodating for them now but not sure its 100% so any advice/critisism welcome as I want to care for them the best I can 8) Thank you 8)

  23. Hello everyone Im very new to all this, I have just got myself some pigeons and looking for all you help and advice that you can give 8) I currently have 2 pigeons (now dont laugh please). I got them as youngsters and today is the 1st day they have been out, they are sitting on top of the shed at the moment. Not sure if im doing everything correctly but they seem to be doing well so far. Look forward to speaking to you all and learning lots. Thanks for listening 8)
