this needs to be highlighted on pigeonchat also....lets catch the scumbag out and put an end to his ways
Would just like to say that the birds in question were neither advertised nor purchased through Pigeon Chat.
We are trying to help to get to the bottom of this though.

All depends when your key races are?
For mid September form they need to come off later than a loft looking at form in August

Very competent sprint based family. The cream are probably with Gerald Delaney in Ireland

Best is www.versele-laga.com They have feed patterns etc on there for all sorts of racing.

Johnsons Tonic - stood the test of time for decades.
Can't beat it as an iron supplement.

The 5000 hen was one of Flor Vervoort's greatest pigeons. Was sold a few years ago for a MASSIVE sum (Think nearly £60,000 if memory serves)
Winner 23 x 1st & ace breeder.

Which Fed Roland ?
-
-
Seems to be the story that has gathered pace over the last few years ... 6 years ago I was atounded when I had a game keeper friend tell me fetch a injured bird. Was a cracker with wing Damage from up north. The Fancier told me that up there there were being roasted by the natural system flyers even on the short so called sprints. Our fed is dominated mostly by Natural, and as for distance, wel just look at the Nationals, especially the Hens! N4ed one look further?
Which Fed is this Roland ?

I do believe I was the first one to ever use Stalosan. Met a guy called Earl Williams who wanted me to trial it - I then wrote about it in BHW.
-
If I were to ever start again (which I won't) I would'nt confine myself to my locality - I'd use the internet to search the world for what I thought were the right birds

sad time and a legend in pigeon racing
Echo that.. A great name & a fine man

I don't Stu
But I know a man who does!!

Great stuff

Not surprised!!

Canker lives & breeds in the crop - hence most the time you can't see it
The yellow cheesey form is excessive and deep rooted
A standard canker treatment OUGHT to shift it - if it doesn't I'd said there was something fundamentally wrong with pigeon - assuming you're using the product correctly
