i like them am trying to cover as much as the uk as i can. at last you have a chioce now. 4 or 5 couriers to choose from instead of just one. and as long as they are licenced it should offer you some protection for your birds.

i hae sent my details to llouella, and others. i am still waiting for replys. why should i rush to fill a void, i have other commitments other than birds. i was tryin i repeat trying to set up an alternative to amtrak. only a few have been in touch to offer support or give any ideas. some just want to gripe and moan about me for chargin £27. please try and transport anything from one end of the country to another for that price. i should just walk away from trying to help and let you sort this yourselves. i am a small company who needs to make a living like anyone else. i gave it from december last year until july this year to see if business picked up it didnt. i then stopped doing pigeon deliveries until i was contacted by a member of this forum who talked me into doing it again,. he gave me some details and i have had a few messages of phil. i have been trying since i got my licence to transport animals but everyone is set n there ways and uses a company who many of you dont want to use. the answer was simple give me a chance, but you didnt, you still went and gave your birds to amtrak. maybe it should be left to yourselves to sort out or may be you should contact companys like city link or dpd. they have a network in place already so should easily beable to accomadate your needs.

at last someone has the right idea. you dont need a courier like me to transport your birds you just need a bit of thought and some commitment. no one can carrier your birds or treat them as well as you can. keep this idea going. you really can get this sorted for yourselves. i know im doing myself out of a golden oppertunity but i would rather it was done by yourselves. i will help where ever i can. cheers

my computer virus was caused by an infected email. have another computer as back up know. in the last two weeks we have moved a grand total of 5 deliveries for birds. people moan at amtrak but they still use the service, cant alwats blame the drivers they only do as they are told. we now we have made mistake, we are a new business so we are still learning. there are so many pigeon fanciers in all areas surely you could set up a network of collection and delivery points and use a coureier company as a trunk service. if we dont deliver 10 birds a day then we run at a loss. i cant afford to do tis. so people now have a choice to make.....on tuesday all amtrak drivers have been told to turn up for work as nomal and see what happens...a bit shitty for the drivers. amtrak will either go tits ups and cease trading or they will be bought over the weekend and contnue as bfore. people need to make a choice an either set u your own delivery system, use amtrak or use us. the choices are out there. its a case of use us on a regular basis or we will have no choice but to stop this service altogether, we cannot and will not contine to lose money on this. i have mates who drive for amtrak and they are having a shitty time. dont blame the drivers blame the management. drivers arent told they are collecting pigeons most of the time. in these uncertain times spare a thought for the lads who come tueday might be out of a job. i for one will try and give a couple a job. many thanks

HELLO. IF ANY FANCIER WANTS TO RING ME AND ARRANGE TO BECOME A COLLECTION/DELIVERY HUB FOR THERE AREA I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO DISCUSS THS WITH THEM. CHEERS

upto now amtrak drivers have been told to go to work on tuesday and see what happens. i will gladly work with any national delivery system that can be set up between us all. the idea of a pigeon fanciers/breeders network seems a really good idea. it would work out cheaper if we had a central collection/delivery point in each area. we are trying to get hold of a couple of vans and drivers for next week just in case amtrak dont recover. i know a couple of people have been waiting fo a reply from me regarding collections/deliveries but i lost all my computer hard drive thru a virus. so if anyone has a bird that need collecting next week please get back in touch and i will sort it out. my contact number is 07742505583 or email me at amdeliveries.com again if amtrak stay closed then i really do need to talk to as many people as possible to help set up a nationwide delivery network amongst all the pigeon world. we will be in a better position to move forward as soon as we find out about amtrak. again my apologies for any missed or unreplied requests for collection. many thanks mike

hi. i am mike from am deliveries. i am giving the delivery service another go. we are not a huge company...yet. but we do care about the birds welfare. yes we have made mistakes in the past, we did offer to water the birds but only on request. now the birds will be given water every couple of hours whilst in our care. we now have a delivery system in place were by we only cover certain areas of the uk on certain days. the more work you guys put my way the more drivers i can employ, the quicker the service gets. if anyone has any suggestions on how i can improve my service i am more than willing to listen. also if anyone has any contact details for the big people in the pigeon world then please send me them or pass my details onto them and i will try and improve the service you currently get. i didnt start delivering pigeons to make a fortune to retire on , i started it because i was asked to by a pigeon racer in my area, who wasnt happy at being delivered a dead pigeon and being asked to pay for it. anyway i hope i have made my intentions clear. to all the people who have sent me emails offering me support i thank you. to all the people who have not used this service yet, what have you got to lose by trying it, you will be pleasantly surprised. finally... we do require full contact details for both collection and delivery point including telephone numbers. we txt or call when our driver is 30 mins away so if you are out you have time to get home before he arrives.
