Astropigeon

Since I'll only just be starting in the next month or two, I want to hear about some common illnesses to watch out for. You see, I want to be prepared. I would love it if someone would help me.

I have no idea how to train a racing pigeon. I still don't have a loft and I just wanna be informed for the future. I could really use some different opinions.

I listen to the radio alot and I've been thinking it would be cool if there was a special radio station all about our feathered friends whom we love dearly. It would make it easier to get people into our sport. And, it could be interesting for us because we could learn a bit more.

If someone would explain to me what some of the basic pigeon language words mean, I would be grateful. I still don't know much.

I don't have a pigeon yet, and I may be in 6th grade, but I love pigeons. Ever since I saw an Animal Planet special on carrier pigeons, I've wanted one. Well, I asked my mom about it, and she said unless I can build my own loft, No pigeons for me. I mean, my heart aches for a pigeon, but I don't know how the easiest way to build a loft is!!! Where do I get blueprints? Is there homemade things that could work until I have a real loft? I live in a rental, so permanence is out of the question. Is there a way to make portable quarters for a pair? Where do I get the pigeons? I hope someone can help me!!! - Astropigeon
