  2. i got my 1st pair of y.bs on monday there also my 1st pigeons.im trying hard to tame the birds but they still seem quite wary and shy.am i expecting to much to soon?any tips would be great.cheers

  5. hi happy new year to everybody.i have a west facing loft due to available space at home.but the lads in my local club reckon i have no chance of any success facing west.just wondered if everybody agrees?cheers

  8. hi ive got a 12x8ft blakes loft arriving early jan.ive constructed the base (well attempted) i have it built up 8 inch off the floor on breeze blocks,with 3 pieces of 4x4 timber sat on.do i need to fix the timber to breezes or anything else?or is that fine?many thanks simon

  14. finally got to the stage of ordering loft.narrowed it down to ecco sheds or blakes.anybody have any opinions on the better quality and more reliable of the 2?

  23. no worries mick any conversation on training out of hutches is worth listening to.my father suffered terribly from pigeon lung when i was very young hence my apeteite for trying hutches

  25. thanks for that.i was purely thinking of starting with hutches to gain experience before buying a loft and putting a whole new team of y.bs together and being out of my depth.i was thinking of building a team slowly over the years.thanks for advice much appreciated
