Just read a column in the herald to-day regarding wind .farms and the affect that the rotating blades have on air pressure.It seems that the change in pressure can damage the lungs of birds and bats which fly near the blades,not that they are hit by the blades,because the numbers found in the vicinity show no visible signs of injury.The report goes on to say that each turbine is responsible for the deaths of 300 birds and bats in Spain and Germany,however no figures are in the public domain in Scotland.Food for thought.

c windmills or windfarms no significant harm to the bird population as for the air pressure round the blades killing birds more sh** windfarms are the future and safest way to go thats why they dropped the subsidies on green energy.

The number is not important the fact that ANY members left to join another organisation is or should be alarming to the rest of your members.

At a time when numbers are dwindling through natural wastage no one can afford to have members leaving, especially under such distasteful circumstances.

 

Remember you's all think winning in the "big" club carries more prestige, that prestige is already eroding and you's are daft enough to let it get destroyed over Personalities and Geography instead of Truth and Transparency but you's are well aware of the problems in the running of the SNFC but choose to bury your heads.

Naedoos people will keep bringing it up cause their not happy. That will probably continue until its all dealt with, as it should be. Fanciers are fed up with being kept in the dark and want to know what's going on, what's wrong with that?

There are hundreds of irate fanciers (life long members) wanting to know when its all going to be sorted out in the open. You don't want people to say anything, best keep stoom don't rock the boat and so on.Why, please tell us.
