So I'm guessing barley is common later on then. This might sound absolutely stupid, but does the barley have to be a certain type etc? The only reason I ask is my friend has a farm, and has barley galore in storage.

I got a general pigeon mix from an animal feed place local, but they don't really cater for pigeons. I asked at another place and was told they could get many different types, so I just wondered what to get. Im very slowly finding my way. Hoping to pop to pj lofts this week so they should give me some advice too.

Could someone please tell me what is the best/correct food for this time of year please. I had no idea there was so many different types etc. Regards in advance.

Hi, I used to keep birds as a kid and the bug never quite left me. I used to help a guy near gainsborough and he introduced me to racing. Thinking of maybe getting a few unrung birds for me and my son. Enjoying the site.
