Hi, all. I'm currently jointly writing a play for submission to BBC Radio based on Charlie Hudson's 1913 achievement in winning the long-distance pigeon race from Rome. Research is always a pain, but it's a necessary evil. I'm working from a number of documents, primarily David Glover's 'Pigeon Racing', but I've come across a question not covered in the book (there may well be more in future weeks).
