I got a phone call from the owner who suggested I released the bird - which I did at about 4 pm. It flew up onto my roof ridge where it stayed for the duration of a brief shower, then disappeared. This morning, bird back on my lawn but has since appeared intermittently. If I can, I will recapture and keep safe, fed and watered. This bird may need transport back to the ranch! Regards, Tony

Slipped up and wrote the wrong number. It is 2427 not 2474.

Arrived in my garden Sunday 13th at about 4 pm. This is in Helton, 6 miles south of Penrith in Cumbria. Bird now fed, watered and sheltered. It now awaits to be reunited with its owner. Please phone 01931 712293.
