Hi everyone, im going to fly natural this year as i only have yearlings and this will be my first yr with old birds my questions are what to feed them, how much, and basically the best way to get them to do their best for me. Many thanks in advance Buckingham

Cheers for the replies guys, im only using beans and golden boost at mo wasnt sure if i should lighten up over the winter hence why i asked lol, but i guess with the massive choice on corn that we have i supose you could have a hundered different answers so ill prob use a good resting mix until i pair up but thanks again to all who replied. Hi Sammy i got mine on tic beans and i sometimes give them pin head outmeal mixed with golden boost but wasnt sure whether to lighten up the mix as i wont be pairing up till feb. cheers Buckingham

Hi Andy, yea i guess it is i had a couple of strikes in the season 1 being taken out by a peregrine, ill just see what happens dont wanna lose anymore before i get a chance to breed out of em lol Buckingham

Hey all let my birds out for the first time since racing finished as i built a new front onto my loft and a new trap, a couple of em was playing up abit coz of the new trap when a hawk hit takin 1 of my young cocks. The others after they settled came in quite quick after that, might wait now till pairing em up before i try again bad enough losing em racing but not round ur loft. Hi everyone thanks for all the welcomes, i used to race when i was a kid up till about 6 yrs ago and after meeting an old pigeon mate ended up with the bug again lol so im back this yr and managed to fly a few yb races keeping them back to make a team for next year. hoping to make a few new mates from here aswell, so heres hoping u and your birds are ok.
