  1. It sounds like you have your heart set on fantails, but i would recomend modenas. They are easy birds to look after and I usualy found them easy to breed although some people would disagree with me. I started with them when I was 11 and over the years bred some good birds with stock I got of local breeders. I had to cut down the modenas at the beginning of this year due to work but if you are intrested in getting into them go to some of the big shows and get talking to the modena fanciers and I am told they are always keen to help a beginner.
  2. I always try 2 leave plenty of space under my lofts. If there is a through draft it will keep the rats away and prevent damp and rotting. But its a grand loft you have there

One side for flying rollers and the other side for my spare fantails ect, and am hoping to get some birmingham rollers. 2 of these birds are sold but I have got sum more young ones. I am needing the space due to me getting sum rollers so I will let the 1 adult cock and 3 youngsters go for £15. Thanks Dog fox ps. I will put sum more pics up tomorow
  7. I am considering getting about 6 pairs of birmingham rollers to fly out. My only problem is that I have 3 pairs of garden fantails in a dove cote next to where the rollers would be kept. The fantails are flying free and I was just wanting some advice on weather the rollers will fly as high and as long as they should with the fantails sitting round the garden. any advice appreciated. I was just wondering if someone could tell me what tipplers do? I have kept rollers and tumblers in the past but never tipplers. It may sound like a stupid question but we have all got to learn.
  9. Hi. I was just wanting a bit more info about the rollers. Do you fly them out or are they show birds. Are they paired up? What age are they? What sort of a price would you be looking for? Thanks dogfox
