snowy, it does not matter how good a flyer you are everyone drops birds i would say nowadays losses are bigger than ever. if you have a plan give it a chance and stick to it each to there own. good luck
i have not raced for 6 years now but have noticed the prices are high for pigeon corn personally think you are better off getting a few club members together and buying a ton of pigeon corn to keep costs down.
surely it is best to train in say small batches of ten then if you have a bad toss the losses are not that bad rather had than sending 62 on a toss with loads missing. to me sending 62 is all your eggs in one basket.
i was always told never to put all your eggs in one basket surely you are taking a big chance sending 35 ybs on a training toss. i do hope you get a few more back though,
fife king nobody is pushing you out your doing a good enough job at that yourself. why dont you just draw aline under it and put it down to experience.
