Blitzen

Hi all, I'm new here, and know nothing about pigeons I'm afraid. Today, I have found a racing bird, and have managed to contact the owner, who is several miles away! We are wondering if any local people could take/look after the bird until his owner can collect him? Obviously, he is secure with food and water, although, appears exhausted. Any ideas?
