In the passed I have used tablet form (Avicas Wormer) to worm my birds but a few months ago a bought some Harkers Liquid wormer, does anyone else use this and would you say that it is used as a preventative as good as a tablets. I only have 8 birds so how often would I need to use it.

I have 2 pairs of rollers. one pair are grey and the others are what my friend calls "Reds" the cock in this pair is a very deep roller and ends up hurting himself, one time so bad he is now blind I only let him and his hen out when the rest of my birds are in just in case he sets of flying with them. In all your opinions what actually makes them roll, I think it's sometimes showing of. My friend say's it could be some kind of dizzy spell. I let mine out everyday and most days they roll.

Hi everyone. One of my cock birds has watery dropping and also what looks a bit like mucus some of the dropping is formed. just over a year ago this same bird and 2 others got what I thought was Cocci and I treated them but lost 1 of them as I was too late I didn't realize as my birds had never suffered from any illness up till now. He has never been the same since this illness he is always a been loose. He is eating well and very well in himself. Is there anything any of you can suggest that might bulk him up a bit. I have been keeping my birds in most of the day for around 2-3 months due to a sparrowhawk and they all tend it hang on till I let them out so I'm wondering if this is having any effect on this cock bird.
