    hi every body, i am after a bout 10 hens if any body has any spare as i have 14 cocks and only 4 hens at the moment. i would prefer 2 loan them but if not i can buy them but i have been out of work the past 6 weeks so havnt got a lot of money so they would have to be quite cheap. thanks very much

    i did but the only reason i packed in was because i had to go away for work . so i got a couple of pairs again in november.so hopefully will be racing a few younguns this year.

  20. best thing to do is get a glass milk and add about 6 or 7 drops of lavender dip the birds feet this will ease the burn (reason for mixing with milk is because the oil will not mix with water it will just float but it mixes with milk) dip the birds feet and then once dry apply aloe vera gel to the burns. this is the best thing you can do. you can get lavender and the aloe vera gel in holland and barrets and it will cost about a £5

    when it gets a bit warmer, lock them in a nestbox after they have eaten and they will be a bit more interested in each other because they wont be looking for food, just watch out that the cock isnt to aggressive with the hen because young cocks are generally quite aggressive.
