we brought the e.t.s because the old mon is 80% blind. he had been out of the sport for 3 years.but our opionion is that every body should be able to use it.because their has not been nothing new in our sport for many of years.

feed them diet mix only. no protein. only 20 grams per pigeon.until roaming.then give more the longer they fly.then more the harder they are trained.

in october 2002 we sold a 5 year old to a london fancier. in april 2003 he phoned us say the hen did not lay 1 egg. we could not apologise enough and sent him every single penny he paid out and fetched the bird back. we paired it up and bred 6 young birds out of her.we were very angry about this but what can you do but live and learn.

the old man is 80% blind and thats on a good day.for many years now when he clocked in he always took between 20 to 25 seconds to clock in. so if he had a pigeon go into his loft 5 seconds before any one else and some who flew to a supertrap had 5 pigeons go in 5 seconds latter he would finish 6th.now he is as fast as every one else.the e.t.s has been a long time coming.its about personal choice if you wont it get it if not dont. because if your pigeons are fast enough it does not matter what you fly on.

if i start all over again. iwould only buy young birds. race them. and put the best in stock for 1 season. then keep the ones that bred winners.and i would do this every year.and it would not matter what family they were.

we use a bricon. you do not need a club marker unit to link your rings to your pigeons. you dont need to put chipped rings on until the day before you 1st race. at £1.10 a ring it will not be so costly if you lose quite a few young birds

we put our pigeons on the dark right from parting until the 14 of june. i know a few fanciers who put their pigeons on dark in march and started to moult 1st week in september.we always do it john halsteads way and never had a problem. been flying on it since 1996.
