  1. Hi, after joining the site recently I posted (under novices section) re the suitability of keeping these in Northern UK free flying. I'm now looking for a breeding pair of each, to add to my small collection of Mookees , fantails and one (what I think is) old English Tumbler. Can anyone help ? Thanks Mark West Cumbria UK
  2. Thanks Graeme, not too bothered if they don't perform brilliantly, I just like to watch them in the garden. I've seen both the tumblers and trumpeters on UK classifieds and Ad Mart. Was just a little worried that the Arabian trumpeters wouldn't like the cold too much, but as an advisor told me 'They've all got feathers haven't they ' ! Tried posting on other site, but it's giving me an error at minute Thanks again Mark
  3. Hi all, I'm new to the site and fairly new to keeping pigeons - I have a few Mookees and Fantails that I keep free flying. I was thinking of getting some Arabian Trumpeters (I've heard their calls are very soothing) and some Portugeuse Tumblers (as I've read that they are a good breed of tumblers to keep free flying). What I want to know is are they both suitable and hardy enough to keep free flying in Northern UK and does anyone know how the tumblers will perform ? Thanks for any replies Mark
