  3. Petron advertise a product called CONTRATEX DEFLECTIVE NETTING. They say it lets in air without draughts, deflects rain, keeps out vermin, lets sunlight in. cost £19.00 1000mm x 2000mm.
  4. Starting to build my loft tomorrow, what would be the best position to face the loft. the birds will be racing home from the s/w, The loft will be going at the rear of the garden and will be able to face east west or south. My original plan was to have the loft facing south but will it get to hot in the sun all day?
  5. New to the site and new to pigeons, I recently posted messages on the forum seeking adviice on starting up. Iwould like to thank everyone who replied to my questions especially Bobthegas, crookey1965 and Okitsme. I'm now in the process off getting my loft up and running to race young birds in 2008. :) Finding this forum has opened the door into the world of the Pigeon and one day maybe I will be giving advice to a NEW STARTER? CHEERS, STUART.

Hi I'm interested in keeping pigeons, I would be starting from scratch and at this present time I'm trying to gather as much information as possible.I would really like to find a local club, I live in Sutton Surrey. I have visited my local library and found only 2 books both seem very basic and anciant. Thank you for taking the time to read my message many thanks.
