  1. the ets rings with containinig microchips and unique serial numbers i feel will be a lot more difficult to copy, i am not for one minute suggesting they copy proof just that it would be a lot more difficult
  2. even so dovescot it would be like a needle in a haystack and even then what could the RPRA really do
  3. i would presume rightly or wrongly that the RPRA could not do a thing about this type of situation

my own feeling on this is simple - initial problem that we all thought was sorted has creeped up again, Timbarra offered to call a truce with the offer of a young bird from one of the champions he owns if albear would also donate a yb the sale was for website funds i dont know what the outcome of this offer will be. For whatever reason the argument has restarted, i was told last week that the gestel pair were aain available and only because of my own situation did i not take them but Andrew did and best of luck to him. the initial situation began over timbarra not awnsering questions so he asked the same of albear. I really think it is time to draw this under the bridge once and for all, let people do what they please and if you dont like it say nothing as hard as it may be. I hae had the pleasure of visiting timbarra and also of losing an aucton to Albear(unfairly i might add) both of you appear to be good decent people who have just crossed wires which is something i hope can be resolved sooner rather than later. THE PIGEON MEN NEEDS TO STICK TOGETHER!!! if
  5. would have to be a lot cheaper at that age
  6. not quite sure what it wil acheive as timbarra has already stated this was his bird

    again

I do not have a problem with hawks like the rest of you do with regard to bird loss although the population is steadily growing here i think in the last 10 years have had maybe three birds hawked close to home and i presume several more than that whilst racing. i think my figure is below average. If i lost the amount some of you do i would be calling it a day racing as would not have the heart to carry on. Well done to you for sticking through something i maybe take for granted (being able to let my birds out nearly always certain of 100% return)
  8. was you was supplied with transfer for the racing ring
  9. I am Looking for some pigeon rings if anyone has any spare i would appreciate i have the odd one from racing birds of my own
  10. A method i am trying this year and whether it works for me or not i dont know is to, once the old bird race season is over i will be moving ALL old birds out of the main loft into the 16ft loft, thus giving my young birds the full 32ft this will give the young cock s the chance to race to a widowhood box as a youngster and also give the pigeons that bit more space and although i do not overcrowd i feel the more space the better.
  11. Nothing is guranteed to be a champion but i have always had better results with earlier bred young birds.
  12. Pairing all birds up on 26th November, i will be floating the eggs from my stock under my racers this year on the first round.

    Negativity???

I agree with you bruno, there is attitude sometimes on here but everyone has opinions so there is bond to be. I go on a couple of other sites and feel this one is the most positive and i really feel that behind the odd disagreement 99% of the members of this site will help each other when it is needed. fair enough mickb we all get wound up sometimes but as long as we pull together when it matters who cares.

    Neighbours

whe my neighbour suggested my pigeon was messing on her washing i simply asked her which one it was and i would neck it, never heard another whisoer from her before handshe was threating this that and the other
  22. Apparently from speaking to Geoff Clare of Clares pet products since he moved near to Skegness he has not used his floor grills in the loft and is selling them so if you want to get some cheap he may be your man.
  23. I made the long journey today to Cambridgeshire to collect the young hen out of champion 55. I am extremely impressed by the quality of the pigeon, i will post a picture when i can find my camera. whoever got the young cock i feel is very lucky. i had a few informative and enjoyable hours at Timbarras looking at the pigeons and the cards the 55 cock won. There is some absolutly smashing pigeons there and i look forward to trying the dopplear pigeons i have ordered for 2008.
  24. respect for the honestly
