i am sorry to report that the lofts of eric harris of liverton mines were burned to the ground last night, to say eric is devasted is an understatement, eric has only been back in the sport for 3 years and had just rung all his babies in the nest, , i would like to ask if anyone can help with anything, he has lost all his race birds stock etc and his lofts,, the main thing if anyone can help is in the way of building new lofts , i am sure there will be plenty of offers for ybs etc, but the loft is of utmost importance.. a few of us can build him a loft if we have the materials, there is no shortage of labour just the materials etc, any help would be appreciated , if any one could contribute you can contact eric on 07866670049,or contact me via pm . thanks in advance!!

Been taking birds training the last week to the same place - 27 miles line of flight. Their times have been 1h 15 mins, 45 minutes, 34 minutes, 33 minutes and now today 27 minutes. A mile a minute they were doing! A toss from 45 miles from a different route planned for tomorrow. Then another 3 from the 27 mile point next week. I have a good feeling about next Saturday
;)why not teach them to race home from 12 miles now you have taught them to come home???

was going through the birds at the weekend and i have 27 missing from the loft over the winter months so far,
:o why would you let them out in the winter when the hawks are lookin for food, you must be stupid, and dont care to much for your birds birds they should be rested when moulting starve the hawks and then there wont be so many about

i bought 50 plastic clip rings at donny show and some stickers from pied piper off pigeon chat they work out at £9 per 100 rings i also used the stickers on my ets rings
