Young rollers won't roll instantly, and they tend to tail ride before they somersault. It usually takes a few months for young birds to roll. I have some young show rollers out flying and some of them have started to roll, one is doing a series of somersaults at one time.
Much better than powder getting up your snozzle. I read in BHW about putting vinegar in their bath water to rid the birds of lice, tried it and it doesn't work. I shall stick to the Van Verminex ( or whatever it's called these days). It costs about £10 a bottle.
Lice is a definite no-no when showing pigeons. I use Van Verminex every two to three months or when needed, just add a drop to the perch where the bird sits, and the nasties die and drop off the bird. It is also kills flies too. It's really good stuff.
I hope so, wasn't good trying to carry heavy boxes with king's in up those stairs either lol
I hope the new carpark will be in use by January too, that will be really handy.
Although it is a lovely monkey, it really isn't me as I can't be quiet for any longer than...ooo.....10 seconds. Admit the fact that you love learning about dilute ash red chequers. Shall we move onto reduced? ;D
If I have a say in which one I am in the pic, could I please be the one covering its ears, at least then I can rest my ears from all your cackling, I can hear you all the way down here ;D ;D
