I agree with Rose I dont think the RPRA are consistant enough, are rather lightweight dont do enough campaigning, dont have a grasp of the media promotion and marketing. They also seem devoid of ideas regarding securing the future of the sport and wont take on the RSPB etc

Just had a fancier friend ring me ...distraught, he along with others had ordered Birds via an agent in Belgium ...agent got Birds and Birds were dispatched via AMTRAK to Fife, Elgin, and other areas ..nothing ...after 3 Days tracked them to Liverpool. The depot informed them that they thought that the best course of action was to liberate ( we let them go!) Bird mostly 26/27 day old YBs. Others were worth thousands... stockys.. bloody appalling. The agent phoned the RSPCA poor wee souls in a box for 4 Days in boiling temps and then let go!!

Maverick, if you check other threads and Topics where Fifeking has posted there is a pattern... and we can only conclude that he gets his jollies or whatever from causing a stir ...sad really

Jeezo here we go again.... the SHU are terrible the RPRA are great brigade. The RPRA are correct in saying that surely grown men and women can look at the Law and realise what it means ...cant they??????.. if fanciers as it seems in Fife are choosing to ignore the law they put us all at risk ...and make no mistake people have been flouting this and putting racing at risk for all of us. NO BRAINERS

It was the SHU that lobbyied almost begged to be given this special concession from the Scottish Exec ....it is only that... a concession. Fife King this was not an RPRA thing it was the law a government ruling ...it was not for any union to decide that it could ignore. Maybe you should be careful about saying that the RPRA said you could let them out ...From Peter Bryant that wasnt what the RPRA said. You are doing PB and the RPRA no good (from what you say looks like he was telling the RPRA members in Fife to break the Law risk a £5000 fine and the possibility of you Birds culled) which in fact was NOT what the RPRA were saying at all. The fact this is a concession and not a right should not be flouted ... I have seen teams of Doos going over me. Only needs Fife Council to see or get word this and we have all had it as they have the powers to deal with it We all agree its over the top but it is the Law.... I dont like having to buy a TV licence but its Law and I get punished if i dont have one
