well folks thanks for the positive replies!!! much appreciated,
as to bruno obviously you aint got any sort of input on this subject as regards
(POULTRY BUSINESS) what the fxxk u on about ??????????????
(MARKET GARDENERS) are you real in what you put in your replies????????
where did i mention any of the above ????????????...........
for your statistics bruno my garden is 200 feet long by 40 feet wide at the bottom of my garden to the fence n then to the rear neighbours house is 60 feet
my current and only loft is 24x8
which i will add to another 32 footer at some point./
well some neighbours arnt keen on birds anyway so why not let them go ,,,,,,,,
its the advice regards proxy to pigeons i need
the neigbours can move!!!!!!
does anyone keep chickens and pigeons in close proximity
the reason i ask is my better half thinks we should get half dozen chickens so we can have about a thousand eggs a year home grown sort of stuff
but with the bird flu etc would it be stupid n just more reasons for the neigbours to have go sort of speak ????????
dr colin walker recomends it for spraying of loft
dipping the birds in
it has a 4 month residual effect on lice
effective against mosquitoes,pigeon flies,and mites
well folks the north is the hardest route to fly ....
you tend not to need to sort your birds out after season, cos generally what you have got left is the best in ya loft, that is not to say you can fly a gudin, but the ones that came have got heart.....
well i now fly on the south and have got to revert to race records to see
who when and what came where each week ,only bloody thing is they are dropping thick n fast its hard to keep track ,
hi i am wanting to see about getting droppings tested
but where should i go or who should i use,
what have your experiences been? and are there any pitfalls? i.e cant be tested for certain things etc
i am within driving distance of retford poultry (libbys)
your thoughts please
the reason i ask is that my racing section of birds have feathers missing front of crop, feed frm metal trough always plenty of corn in it.
now my stock birds have same type of trough but no signs of feather disturbance???
