i have no other birds at moment except these lpw birds so will wait and see what the vet says

i spoke to them wednesday night and that is all they kept sayin it is my fault and dont want to know they even blamed the five that died on the way home on me i hope the vet finds out what is wrong and it is treatable

spoke to vet today and needs to run more test as found birds have cocci and enteritis but not coviced this is the main problem treating them for these at moment whilst rest of tests are done

A sensible thing to do is to stop them if you want to build up your team, its ok to keep sending them if you have a shed full of older pigeons to fall back on if you loose them. If you like the racing and not worried about next year i would fly em out but if you did stop them there is plenty to do with the yb's

i am thinking logicly i have paid money for ybs, I dont expect 50 winners all i want is 50 healthy ones. You wouldnt go to tescos and buy a loaf of bread and be happy if it was mouldy!

been to vets today will know more tomorrow when the results of tests are back cant wait to see what the problem is

well i have not heard off lpw like they said they would today but i have been in contact with a vet that deals with birds and booked a appointment so will see what he says before i contact them again will keep you posted

hello i had birds 4 weeks ago where i bought 40 by the time i got home 5 where dead fair play to lpw they replaced them no problem. The following sunday i went back picked the 5 replacements and bought 10 more i then installed them in the loft ( i have only started back up so i have no other birds except the lpw birds). within a couple of days i went through checking birds and i seen signs of canker in them so i started to treat them with an all in one treatment from rohnfread within this last two weeks i have disposed of 14 so i went away the weekend leaving my mum in charge (she also kept pigeons before so she knows what she is doin) i came back and she had isolated another in the basket now the have been treated for the course and one still gone wrong. i have been using harkers loft treatment on the floor and boxes the feeders the feeders are being sprayed with a disingfectant after use. i spoke to lpw the are goin to let me know what they are going to do and i am goin to a vet to get the birds checked as there is something more serious than just your common illness. the only thing i can think of is the pmv vaccine weaken them when they are injected when they r weaned
