following on from the debate about true national winners, what really naffs me off is the false advertising of 42 winners in a season and numerous first national wins advertised freely in the racing press when in actual fact they have only won lets say a gold ring race within a national or an old hens race within a national.
It is time that adverts and claims of glory are substantiated in order for these people to stop selling lies to other fanciers.
The fancy press and respective homing unions should vet all adverts before allowing them and stop all the false advertising.
