very untrue jim ,many want their birds back this is happening all over the uk dont forget if they dont claim them then report them to the organisations, let them be suspended but most do reply dont tar us all with the same brush.

I REPORTED A CWFT HEN OF HIS PHONED AND GOT TOLD HE NO LONGER LIVES THERE BY A LADY FOR 12 MONTHS SHE LIVES THERE AND IS FED UP WITH GETTING THESE CALL THEN A WEEK LATER WIFE GOT A CALL VERY RUDE AND ABRUPT SAYING KEEP BIRD WIFE ASK FOR DETAIL OF BIRD TO BE CUT OF SAYING HE HAS DETAILS FROM RPRA

Can someone help my memory.... Birds usually best racing when thrown 1st to 3rd flights. Not worth sending 300-400 miles when onto 4th or more? This correct way of looking. And before people jump in about it wont make it a better doo and things I know but to give the bird a best chance
YES CORRECT, I WAS ALWAYS TOLD THAT ANYWAY AS WHEN ON THE 4/5 FLIGHT APPARENTLY THEY START TO MOULT THE COVERT FEATHERS AND CAN EASY BE PUT DOWN BY RAIN ETC.

yes mate a lot of scotch birds over here this weekend ,fed watered and ther making ther way back, south wind here now it will help them make home good luck all.

Instead of stopping after the old birds I have changed my mind and will finish the season with young birds then that's it for me.
They will go to all the races I will give it my all for my birds

it rains here everyday anyway and if not daytime then nightime really is unbelievable usually cant get birds even trained properly ,worst year ive ever saw in racing pigeons and we are due to fly the channel in 3/4 weeks.

come on all you welsh fanciers surely you can do better than that, ring sec tel numbers etc,when a non fancier has a stray we need to act asap e mails etc take to long in this case.
