thanx 4 info..I'm feeding them sunflower seeds ,barley,brown lentils a few lupin seeds do u think thats a good balance ? + the parents didnt seem in any hurry to chase chicks out ,even after 4 weeks so we carried them a bit furthur from shed every time..is that normal?

at the moment all the birds are in a space 12foot by 3 foot 7 foot high I open the 'pigeon hole'door in the morning then close at night , so they come and go as they please.if it is two seperate doors how do i train them to go to their own space?

no rings..would I put the mum n dad,then 3 older chicks (0ne of the second batch never came back)but theres a new chick still being fed ..whens a good age to seperate them. an can u reccomend a gd book on general care and amount of space they need thanks v much

I was given a pigeon someone found tired n hungry. let it stay in my woodshed where it cud come n go freely. not long after another arrived then 2 chicks then 2 more...have addapted shed but am worried as today I saw mother bird seeming to be aggressive with a chick then father the same with same chick...I'd been working on shed making it less drafty, maybe the disruption upset them..?would they normally live as a group or will I need to seperate them?
