Help from any fancier! I have registered on your site to be able to receive some assistance about an injured racing or homing pigeon that has been found in my yard. It has a leg band that reads "BELG 2010 3075328" and the phone number stamped on his wing is 051/635082. I know that this is a bird from Belgium. Three weeks ago, I tried to call and e-mail the Belgium Society for the Protection of Birds and they asked me to contact a fancier in my area. When I called, their answering system was in French, so I could not understand it. It took a couple of days for them to e-mail me back and by them I had released him, hoping that he would find his way home. The bird is now limping and there is blood on his right wing. Since it is Sunday, I have not been able to get hold of anyone by phone. And not only that, I go on holiday tomorrow back to the States. I am located in Suffolk county on RAF Lakenheath. So is there anyone nearby that can take care of this beautiful but wayward bird?
